Punjabi Pumpkin

Saison with pumpkins and curry spices

Inspired by a really great bowl of curried pumpkin soup, our latest single-batch expression of pumpkin beer is a saison-style ale brewed with pumpkins and very subtly spiced with a bespoke curry blend. Fruit and spice from our house Belgian yeast meld with hints of squash and malt. Notes of curry leaves, black pepper, cardamom, cumin, and coriander hide underneath, poking out here and there as you progress through your glass. Finishes nicely dry with plenty of effervescence to clear your palate and keep you coming back for more.This is one of 8 CBC specialty pumpkin beers we will feature, along with over 20 guest pumpkin beers, at our upcoming 3rd Annual
Great Pumpkin Festival
on Saturday, October 30th.
