SIMPLE

Belgian-inspired pale ale with Glacier hops

Simple:
American and German pilsner malts,
English caramel malt.
CBC’s house Belgian yeast.
One single, simple hop varietal, Glacier.

Heavily late-hopped in the kettle, this Belgian-inspired pale ale trades the common American hop notes of citrus, grapefruit, and pine for a more earthy, grassy, peppery hop character.

Super dry on the palate, with a clean maltiness and fruit and spice notes from our special yeast. Long, lingering hops through the finish line. Simple.

  • CBC, tucked away in Kendall Sq. is a local gem…My friend had heard great things about CBC, I had heard pretty much nothing - so came in with an open mind…I'm a sucker for unique craft beers so this place is right up my alley. The bartender, Travis, was awesome. He was ridiculously knowledgeable about all the beers on tap, and happily dealt with us when we asked to try a bunch of them.
