Simply Red IPA

Release Date: Tuesday, September 22, 2009

The beer’s not red, Jason is! We’ve brewed this IPA in celebration of our good friend and longtime CBC’er Jason Lydic as he stares down the barrel of the big 4-0.
We’d be remiss if we didn’t make sure everybody knew it, so make sure you take a moment to say hi to J with a hearty “Geez, man, you’re 40!” Brewed with Vienna and Munich malts and aggressively hopped with Tettnang, Cascade, Spalt, and Amarillo, then dryhopped with over 11# more Amarillo. The result: super-floral, juicy notes of citrus, pepper, and spice balanced by just enough malt in the finish. This IPA will make J happy. Trust us, we know.

OG: 1.056   FG: 1.010   ABV: 6.0%
