Valley Ghoul

Scotch ale with pumpkin and heather flowers

The latest in our Valley Girl Beer Series, Valley Ghoul gets an appropriate seasonal twist. Brewed with organic barley from Lazy Acres Farm in Hadley, MA, it has been malted by our friends Andrea and Christian at Valley Malt. As part of their innovative B.S.A. (Brewery Supported Agriculture) program, CBC contracts with Valley Malt and Massachusetts farmers to produce grains and malt for our brewery, directly supporting organic, sustainable farming and small business in our Commonwealth.

Valley Ghoul is a formidable 8.5% of rich malt flavors and hints of brown sugar and treacle. Adding pumpkins was a seasonal no-brainer, and a last-minute addition of heather flowers contributes subtle, delicate floral notes to this robust, malty beer. Enjoy!
