CBC’s Annual Barleywine Night returns with TEN barleywine expressions and barleywine-friendly tapas from Chef David Drew.

The Beers:

2008 Blunderbuss Barleywine
  50% barrel-aged in Buffalo Trace/Utopias barrels and blended.
  11% $5.25/$3.00
Sherry Cask 2008 Blunderbuss
  ‘08 Blunderbuss cask-conditioned in a ‘pin’ with sherry barrel oak. Served via gravity.
  11% $5.50/$3.25
DryHop Cask 2008 Blunderbuss
  A full cask of ‘08 aggressively dryhopped with American and English hops. Served via beer engine.
  11% $5.50/$3.25
2008 Arquebus
  2008 GABF Gold Medal Winner, Experimental Beers 10.75%  $6.50/$3.50
2008 Spinal Pumpkin
  Our first (and the world’s?) Pumpkin Barleywine!
  Rockin’ 11.0% of course $5.25/$3.00
2007 Oak Aged Blunderbuss
  Huge oak and caramel nose, bourbon spirit, crème brulee, spiritous finish. 11%  $5.50/$3.25
2007 DryHopped Blunderbuss
  Last year’s monster hop expression has mellowed dramatically to balance 11%  $5.50/$3.25
2006 Blunderbuss
  Hazy copper, big fruity nose. Dried fruit, vanilla, spicy golden raisins, caramel, subtle citrusy hop 11.7%  $5.75/$3.25
2006 Arquebus - Batch No. 1
  Hazy deep golden, lightly sparkling. Toasted oak, honey, fresh herbs, notes of dried apricots, wildflowers, green apples. Tart and dry to finish.  10.75% $6.50/$3.50
2005 Blunderbuss
  Bright amber, garnet highlights. Grassy, spicy hop nose mingles with toasted malt.
  11.3% $6.00/$3.50

All barleywine expressions available in full (8oz.) or half (4oz.) pours.

Flights limited to three half pours per person at any given time.
