The beer, dubbed Mass Appeal, is a strong golden ale brewed with fresh citrus zest and juice, dryhopped with Nelson Sauvin, Citra, and Styrian Goldings, and fermented with a combination of yeast strains from each participating brewery.
Chef Dave has also joined in the Boston Beer Week fun by creating a special prix fixe menu to pair with Mass Appeal and other CBC beers. The menu is 3 courses, each paired with a beer for only $35. The prix fixe menu also premiers Tuesday May 29th and will be available for dinner through Sunday evening. See below for the menu.
Jason and Todd from Beer Advocate will join us as well, and as this will be the official kickoff party for an amazing Boston Beer Week, we’ll also feature a draft line of beer from each Mass Appeal brewery. We’ll post the draft list when we get closer to the date!
